About the event
Join us for a visit to Growing Well Kendal - an inspiring organic farm and mental health charity based at Low Sizergh near Kendal. Together we’ll explore how Growing Well combines sustainable food growing, therapeutic horticulture and community enterprise to support wellbeing, confidence and connection.
The visit will include a chance to learn more about their “recovery through activity” approach, hear about their organic growing and veg box scheme, and explore ideas around food, care, volunteering and community-led models that could help shape the future of our own community café project.
