About the event
Cafe Visit: Summerhouse Community Farm
Join us for an inspiring visit to Summerhouse Community Farm, a pioneering community-owned farm in Lancaster that is reimagining how land can be used to grow food, strengthen communities, and care for the environment. Purchased as part of the wider FoodFutures vision to bring more land into community ownership, the three-acre site is being developed through a collaborative permaculture design process that combines food growing, education, biodiversity, skills sharing, and sustainable livelihoods.
We'll be joining one of the weekly volunteer sessions. Good Things Collective will be joining the session as a group on Thursday 25th June from 10am – 2pm.
This is a regular, practical work session to help get the farm up and running with the team from The Plot.
The Good Things Café is committed to building meaningful connections between people, place and food. Visiting Summerhouse Community Farm offers an opportunity to learn more…
