About the event
Come and get involved and immerse yourself in the process of building, creating, and renovating our new community cafe space. Share ideas and help us create the space as we come together to make an inviting and welcoming place to come that shares stories of community.
We'll be carring out basic DIY jobs to improve and prepare the space ready for opening in July.
There's painting, priming, sanding, filling, building, sewing, designing, and much more to tackle.
Each session will be guided and supported by a member of our team.
Lunch and refreshments: Bring a packed lunch - unfortunately we are unable to prepare food on site untill the building work has progressed.
There is a microwave and stocked tea /coffee making facilities - and plenty of biscuits and fruit.
