Vaz is an artist and musician from North Yorkshire.  Drawing inspiration from the DIY-ethos, she uses hand-painted typography, rhyme, rhythm and images to advocate for social change and to encourage people to take action. She explores the role of art as protest and as a part of community-led action. She believes that art and craft are synonymous with personal and political power.
