Art is For Everyone - Doodle Characters
Turn your doodles into illustrated characters with Jack Taylor @jackkaprestudio
Service Description
Friday 6th November, 2 - 4pm Jack has been working with GTC to create a roster of fun characters that represent us and our values. You may have seen these on our posters or around our cafe and community hub? In this workshop Jack will be sharing some of his methods on how to come up with ideas. You'll be using low pressure doodling techniques to let your creativity flow, coming up with fun and unique characters designs before refining them into your own finished illustrations! You’ll be supplied with everything you need to make your illustrations but feel free to bring your own materials. Art is for Everyone is a series of low pressure, creative workshops run by different artists each month. The workshops are designed to get your creative juices flowing, for people of all different skill levels, where the outcome is less important than the creative process itself. With the aim to show that being creative and making art can be for everyone. So whether you’re a regular creative or you’re new to the game and don’t know where to start... Come along to our community co-working studios and get a taste of the art that happens at Good Things. You’re welcome to arrive early or stay late to make full use of the studio space during the co-working session, available from 1:30–5:30pm. Accessibility Information: The studio is on the ground floor and accessed via three steps with a handrail. Toilets are located either up one flight of stairs or down three steps at the rear of the building.
