Visions in/of the North West…

blog by Amy Dickson

We are excited to share news and info on the launch of a pilot programme of monthly artist film and video screenings hosted in Morecambe Library.

Featuring regional and award winning films and videos, this is a unique opportunity to see these works rarely shown outside of major cities and institutions.

Also as a pilot programme, we are looking to hear your voices and responses to shape future screenings. What were your likes and dislikes, the things you’d like to see next, or more of? We will value your feedback and responses to these programmes, and hope these screenings can add to and build a stronger local artist community in Morecambe.

These programmes are facilitated by xviix which is currently programmed by Amy Dickson & Jamie Jenkinson. In this project we are supported by Film Hub North with National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI Film Audience Network.

Below are details for the first in a series of three, we hope you can make it!
