Learn the basics of Linocut with local artist Hannah Corbett and make a lino stamp or greeting card
Service Description
Friday 27th February 2-4pm Learn how to prepare and transfer an image onto your lino ready to carve, come and try your hand by making and printing your own personalised Stamp or Greeting Card! Learn how to translate your image into 'lino language' and use line to create texture in this impactful medium. Bring some ideas for your images along so we can get stuck in straight away. A simple line drawing measuring approx 10x10cm for greeting cards or 4.5cm diameter for circular stamp designs. We have a short time to work with so try not to make it to complex - small simple images or text/logo ideas will work well! You’ll be supplied with everything you need to make the print from your drawing. So if you’re a regular creative or you’re new to the game and don’t know where to start.....Come along to our community co-working studios and get a taste of the art that happens at Good Things. You’re welcome to arrive early or stay late to make full use of the studio space during the co-working session, available from 1:30–5:30pm. Accessibility Information: The studio is on the ground floor and accessed via three steps with a handrail. Toilets are located either up one flight of stairs or down three steps at the rear of the building.
