Here at The Exchange we are beating January's blues by looking forward to this month's 'Second Saturday'. January's edition brings a Mosaic Masterclass with local artist Shane Johnstone where 12 participants, some small family groups, will be given the chance to learn this traditional artform and make a timeless artwork in this introductory workshop.
For those that don't already know Shane is the creative visionary and lead behind local landmark Venus & Cupid situated down the East End of the prom near VVV gym. Here is a photo of it by Ginny Koppenhol recently donated by the artist and sold in our fundraising auction.
More chances to get involved we will be running workshops throughout the week concluding the mosaic masterclass with Shane inspired by the day and the mosaic artcraft.
