Introducing: The Art of Cooperation (AoC) - Our New Creative Programme launching Autumn 2026

We’re excited to share a glimpse into our vision for the rest of the year and beyond as we celebrate a successful project application to Arts Council England. As we look ahead, we’re preparing to launch the Art of Cooperation (AoC). A clear focus for both our community facing and members' programmes and a brand new chapter for the Good Things Collective as we begin to launch our new space this Autumn.

For over a decade, the Good Things Collective has been a grassroots hub here in Morecambe, working with residents to spark creativity in everyday life. We believe in the power of people, the importance of our community, and the potential of our shared spaces. Our overall mission is to expand our creative programme in Morecambe, nurturing a supportive and resilient creative community as we start up a brand new community hub and cafe right in the heart of the town.

Why Now?

Morecambe is changing. With Eden Project on the horizon, our town is gaining renewed focus. We want to ensure that Morecambe’s grassroots creative community is at the heart of this growth. Throughout our previous creative programme House of Cooperation we listened, learnt, and gathered feedback, and AoC is our response: a programme that is genuinely made with and for local people, authentic, collaborative, place-based, and deeply committed to our local community, including non-human perspectives.
