As you might know already, we’re very excited and keen to launch the Good Things online shop to showcase our collective artistic talents. As a community business, and a growing collective, we’re keen to make sure there’s a strong community led platform for people to get their work out more widely. In addition to offering an evolving range of Good Things Collective products, members of the collective will also be welcome to apply to sell their work.
We’re aiming to develop and produce an initial ‘Good Things’ product range by August to test on real people. We’re looking for active collective artists who are keen to commit to developing ideas collaboratively over a couple of informal & hopefully fun sessions.
All those accessing the online platform for online sales will be expected to support the development of collective items - this will help us all gain a shared understanding of what will be expected in terms of quality and agree a benchmark together to grow a successful community run business.
Are you already making products and would you like a platform to start selling your work from? These sessions will be about developing a product line for the online shop, but it could also be the springboard to selling a limited range of your work also. If this is something you’d be interested in, we’d love your input & the opportunity to support you in developing your range as we make this happen together.
We’re holding an informal studio based workshop 8th July; 10:30am - 3:30pm if you’d like to be involved. There are a limited number of places available, so we may be in touch for more information as priority will be given to those that are ready to get started!
