Studio Exhibitions? Hannah Robinson's is a shining example of what we can do together! Join In!

We just wanted to personally thank all the collective members involved who have contributed their time towards making Hannah's first solo exhibition a wonderful success. We couldn't have done it without you! It was very obvious to see at the private view that everyone enjoyed all the effort that had been put in.

All the input and attention to detail really shone through and it was a

wonderful event enjoyed by all. From Beki's poster design, Jules's beautifully written piece outlining Hannah's artistic journey so far, attention to detail in working to capture her vision for the show. The wonderful attentive layout skills of Hannah Corbett working on the day with Hannah Robinson hanging her work, to Morgane and Emma's signwritten namesake on the window and Neil's valuable photographic input. The perfectly matched duo playing maritime music, the picnic scene, the list goes on...

The important thing was, everyone did it together and all those parts made something spectacular. Check out Hannah's spectacular work for sale through our online shop or alternatively pop in whilst her show runs till 21. 2. 22. More details can be found here

To all of you, as collective members, we wanted to ask if you would like to be part of a more permanent 'Exhibitions Team' that contributes towards this process each time, as we welcome new artists to exhibit with us over the next year. Yes, we have a year's worth of new bookings ahead! There will be lots of different ways to be involved, we all have different skills after all! It might include window dressing/sign writing/writing up exhibition outline/ musical act sourcing / liaising with newspapers or local radio/ layout/ photography/ mentoring exhibitor through first workshop/ hanging the work with the artist/cutting out tags....the list is endless!

It would be wonderful to be able to count you in. This team will grow larger as we go along and we're also totally adaptable to your needs. This would be a great way to contribute using your 4 hours also as a collective member!

Next up is local painter Nick Dodd (instagram here), who is also having his first ever solo show. He has quite a few very large pieces. It can be a really nerve wracking experience as many of us know in showing a first exhibition, so the more of us are involved, the more welcome and included people feel. It's a great way to support our new collective members and make them feel at home.

The hanging date calendared for his show is the 1st March, if you'd like to be involved let us know. It's so exciting to be in a position where we're able to have regular exhibitions/private views and showcase the tremendous talent in the area. Please let us know what you think, or any feedback you have of your experience in contributing. It is all valuable to us.
